In this project I was put into a group with Henna and Maison. We were at a good start at the beginning, we knew what we were doing, we planed what we were going to do, but as we were going deep into the project one group member stopped pulling their weight .What I could work better with communicating to my group and to my teachers when there is a problem.
When we read Fahrenheit 451 It was easy to picture what a totalitarian regime looked like and I was able to easily connect to what the book was saying to my own totalitarian regime.
The other part of the project was creation zines about controversial topics and I was able to use my humanities skills through research and using credible sites.
In physics I was able to learn about heat of vaporization and heat of fusion to see the melting point in a dystopian society.
In Engineering we were able to make a stirling engine out of cans, wire, a balloon, PBC, and a lot of glue. I was able to use my engineering knowledge to use different tools to make and fix the stirling engine.
Over all exhibition was a pretty good success everything was completed, everyone knew what to do, and we knew what to say. I was able to contribute a lot to the group through work ethic. I knew we had stuff to do and that there was no time to waste and so I was able to create or help create all our finishing products. I think that I need work on collaboration because it was hard when one group member wasn't working or not there to help me and there were times when I wouldn't do anything about it.
